Well... there are many reasons I like vampires. My first vampire book was "Dracula", and then I started reading Anne Rice's novels. I like them because they are strong and free to do as they please. I love the idea of immortality... with so much time on your hands you can travel the entire world and, probably, read everything that has ever been published.

I too love the idea of forever. Its a gift and a curse all in one and often the Vampire's perspective of forever can make them good or very evil. I love to see what they do with their forever.

ReplyDeleteWhile I was at work and my boss pushed Forever Night from Linda Leal Miller to me to read... I shoved it back, and she said, "oh no you have to read this."

She said, "Trust me you'll want one." I've been reading them ever sense my mentor is Christine Feehan, but there are so many more out there that I read.. it's unending, but now I write also. I am addicted and now I am creating my own world.. so I love vampires.. but not horror.. shivers..
